Sure Sheep Storyboards

Title appears.  Farmer Handley and Sam the Dog enter left.  The Sheep do knee bends. The Sure Sheep. Perched on a hill and looking out over the countryside was Handley Sheep Farm. Farmer Handley was the well respected property owner of Handley Sheep Farm, the most famous supplier of wool in the country.
Farmer Handley presents a sock. The softest socks, sweaters, and scarves were made with Handley Wool.
Sam the Dog exits right. Yes, the farm was a happy place to be
Farmer Handley and Sam the Dog exit right.  Tighten in on barn. and the sheep would sing their happy song every day.
The Sure Sheep exit right. Song: "Get Out There" It’s a beautiful day Things are going our way
Wheelbarrow Sheep enter right.  They hit the fence.  Sheep gets ejected and flies through the air. Got a lot to share Gotta get out there
Two sheep carry in a bale of hay.  They exit shot into barn. It’s a beautiful place Puts a smile on your face
Sheep enters left from barn.  Pig enters from right and meets sheep. Take a breath of fresh air Gotta get out there
Tighten in on Guitar Sheep and Tappin' Sheep on rocks.  Out of focus Swing Sheep in background. You can be sure of that You can be sure of this
Swing Sheep pulls tire swing back, lets it go, and it bumps him out of frame. One thing’s for sure If you don’t join you’ll miss
Dancin' Sheep sing.  Widen out to reveal pig. Cause together we belong Together we are strong Join us for something that’s rare
Lady Sheep sings.  All sheep but Sure Sheep enter frame.  They cheer and walk toward barn. Gotta get out there Get out there (Song Ends)
A farm hand brings food into the stables.  Reveal hay as sheep eat.  Pan left. Because the farm was so famous, all of the sheep were treated with the utmost care, but none were treated better than the Sure Sheep of Handley Sheep Farm.
A farm hand starts to brush a sheep in the back of the stables but is summoned by a Sure Sheep. They lived in the best section of the stables and were so sure of themselves that they were filled with selfish pride and formed a close knit group to keep new sheep out.
Guitar Sheep nervously makes his way to the stage. Any sheep who tried to join their group were put to a test.
Guitar Sheep steps on to the stage. Sure Sheep #1: Okay, show us what you’ve got.
Single of Guitar Sheep. New Sheep: (playing guitar) Do you like what you see? I’m the best I can be.
Dirty Single of Sure Sheep. Sure Sheep: You’re bad!
All Sure Sheep sing. Sure Sheep: You’re bad! You’re bad so go away! You can’t join our group today!
Guitar Sheep exits stage. (Dejected Guitar Sheep exits stage.)
Farmer Handley notices a little sheep. One day Farmer Handley found a new little sheep
Farmer Handley walks toward the little sheep. playing a banjo in a lonely pasture. The little sheep was looking for a place where he could play along with others.
CU of Farmer Handley. Farmer Handley: You’re a talented little fellow. Would you like to come with me to my farm?
CU of Tad the Sheep.  Farmer Handley leans in to the shot and picks Tad up. (The little sheep nods “yes”) He named the sheep Tad
They lift up into the shot.  They exit right. and brought him to his farm.
Tad Morphs older.  A Sure Sheep stares at him. As time passed, Tad grew up. He was welcomed into the farm by everyone but the Sure Sheep.
Tad hides.  The Sure Sheep call the next sheep to the stage. Tad saw how they treated the other sheep and he didn’t want to be a part of their group. Sure Sheep #1: Okay, show us what you’ve got.
Sheep is tap dancing. New Sheep: (tap dancing) Everyone knows I’ve got tappin’ toes!
CU of Sure Sheep. Sure Sheep: You’re bad!
Tad hides. Sure Sheep: You’re bad! You’re bad so go away!
Tappin' Sheep exits stage, dejected. Sure Sheep: You can’t join our group today!
CU of Tad. Tad felt awful. The Sure Sheep were only making the other sheep nervous and keeping them from enjoying the fun of performing together. Tad made a promise to himself. Tad : However I can, I promise to help others to not be nervous and encourage them to join in.
Tight on banjo.  Widen to reveal Tad practicing.  Tad exits left. One day news swept through the stables. Sheep 1: Farmer Handley sold the farm!
Sign is being hung.   Tad enters right.  Dog exits left. Tad stopped playing his banjo to witness the sign being hung on the barn door.
CU of Tad. Tad: “Handley Sheep Farm, Under New Management”. Narrator: This was a sad day
Two shot of sheep. for all the farm animals and an uncertain fate for the farm. Sheep 2: We’re going to miss Farmer Handley. Sheep 3: The wool won’t be as good without him tending the farm!
Farmer crosses left.  Sam follows. Farmer Handley: Gather 'round everyone.
Thhe sheep surround Farmer.  Tad and outside sheep enter left. I want you to know that I appreciate all of your hard work over the years.
Single - Tad enters. The new company that will be moving in
Angle on sheep listening. is very nice and I hear that they’ll be building
Angle on Sure Sheep new stables and a gift shop.
Medium shot of Farmer Handley. I’ll miss being here with you every day but I’m not gone forever.
CU of sheep who cheers up. I will still come in and visit from time to time.
CU of Farmer.  He exits left.  Sam stays. Bye, bye for now and good luck.
Farmer exits left.  Angle on sure sheep.  Widen out to see other Sure Sheep. Sure Sheep: What will we do? Sure Sheep #1: Sure Sheep Members, now more than ever we must stick together. There are going to be new facilities and we must make sure
CU Sure Sheep leader. that we keep our spot in the front of the stables.
CU Tad.  He exits right Tad felt this was his moment to show the whole farm that if every sheep sang together they could show their enthusiasm to the new company. He made his way to the front of the stables to play his banjo. But before he could play one note the Sure Sheep chimed in.
Tad enter, widen out revealing Sure Sheep singing, Tad exits rt Sure Sheep: You’re bad! You’re bad so go away! You can’t join our group today!
Tad crosses right.  Sam looks after him. Tad was confused. Why didn’t the Sure Sheep want everyone to sing together?
Tad enters left.  He looks up ? He returned to his corner to keep practicing. He thought he was alone until he heard a voice. Sam the Dog: Can I join you?
Tight  CU of Sam It was Sam the Dog.
Tight CU of Tad.  Tad nods He was one of the nicest workers on the farm
2 Shot and Tad new him well. Sam the Dog: Don’t let those old sheep get to you. I’ve been watching you practice your banjo
Medium shot of Tad and I think you’re talented. I think you’ve got what it takes to get this farm singing together.
Tight CU of Sam Hey! I‘ve got an idea! The new company has put me in charge of marketing. How would you like to lead the sheep of Handley Sheep Farm in a TV commercial?
Extreme CU of Tad Narrator: Tad was so excited! Now he could play his banjo along with the other sheep.
Tilt down, slate sheep enters, Tad and singers prep in BG He was on top of the world as the cameras rolled. Slate Sheep: Handley Sheep Farm commercial take one. (Slate claps)
Wide shot.  Shot of singers.  Shot of Tad.  Tight on banjo intro. Tad: It’s a beautiful day Things are going our way Got a lot to share Gotta get out there Sure Sheep: Handley Sheep Farm Tad: It’s a beautiful place Puts a smile on your face Take a breath of fresh air Gotta get out there Sure Sheep: Handley Sheep Farm Handley Sheep Farm Yeah!
Sheep surround Tad.  Sam enters. Narrator: The whole farm cheered when they were finished. He inspired the flock and now every sheep had become a Sure Sheep.
Angle on Sam Sam the Dog: You did good, kid. I knew you could do it!
Tad looks up. Narrator: Once the commercial aired, people came from miles around to see all of the sheep sing their happy song.
Angle on Farmer Handley. Even Farmer Handley returned to hear his sheep performing together.
Pan over to reveal old Sure Sheep.  Tad turns around for over his shoulder shot. From then on Tad helped others to not be nervous and encouraged them to join in, just as he promised. Sure Sheep #1: Hey, Tad. Sorry about how we treated you. Can we join in?
Tad turns around to start the final song.  The old sheep run into shot. Tad: Sure you can. Let’s do it from the top, everyone!
Cut ins on sheep teams.  Pans across group.  Shot of farmer, Sam, pig.  All move forward. All Sheep: It’s a beautiful day Things are going our way Got a lot to share Gotta get out there It’s a beautiful place Puts a smile on your face Take a breath of fresh air Gotta get out there You can be sure of that You can be sure of this One thing’s for sure If you don’t join you’ll miss Cause together we belong Together we are strong Join us for something that’s rare Gotta get out there Every voice rejoice And the flock will rock Go on and take the dare
Widen out to exterior of barn.  Credits roll. Gotta get out there Get out there
